the other day.
i forgot i drafted this:
24th january.06holidays in a few days, i cannot wait (: mostly because the schools been giving homework non-stop. making sure we revise during the 3-days-holiday. hehe, which reminds me..
happy chinese new year (in advanced) chinese folks! =) oh and i like red packets. HAHAHAHA.today was my first ever football match. but it was only a friendly match. the coach said he was trying to get us more experienced of what it would be like on the field. so if im not mistaken, all the newbies were chosen to play the first-half. im guessing thats the first part of the game.
the field, was unexpecting. it was filthy, but great. there were puddles of mud everywhere. basically, just mud and side grasses. when i first went on the field to kick balls with
maj,
azzah and
K. i was actually disgusted, i ran a few times and already my knees were filled with spots of mud. but then again, i had to be tough and love the mud.
i was chosen to play as a defender on the left wing, whilst
umi on the right. it was nerve-racking. i was so nervous, i swear it felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest. but then again, the girls kept cool. so, i did too.
it started with the introduction of who we were playing against, which were the '
Kilanaz'. meeting the girls was all right, all though it was also a threat. hehe cos they were in much bigger sizes then we were, height-wise btw.
the game went well, i got screamed at a couple of times by my team mates. because they told me to go "UP, UP, UP!" where the hell was i supposed to know where up is. haha. but nonetheless. i think i played fair. although i did, got a hand-ball, so did
nadj. the girls were screaming all the way from the roadside saying "KEEP YOUR HANDS DOWN!"
suprisingly, we had a lot of people watching. it was great.
nadia scored the first score, and sadly. the last. unfortunately for us, the
Kilanaz won. but we kept our heads high and congratulated them on their victory.
its all about respecito says
yaya. ;) right
nadj? :p
as we got home, i went to have katok J-D. it was definately fulfilling. on the other hand, i got myself an injury. hehe. well, i call it the 'sekadar-atu' injury. lol. its this blue colour appearing on my left foot punya toe. im scared it might turn out like
romee's. oh i assure you, you do not want to know what happened to his toe.
all in all, it was a great experience. i loved it very much, and im looking foward to more friendly matches with more team. just as long as they respect. hehe. i mean, "
you gotta respect, to gain respect." HAHA lol.
